Prvním cílem disertace bylo vytvořit matematický model pro předpověď tepelného odporu tkanin vyrobených z různých typů vláken, se zahrnutím vlivu měnící se vlhkosti tkanin, a ověření tohoto modelu experimentem. Druhým záměrem práce byl vývoj nové tkaniny typu denim, která bude poskytovat lepší tepelný a sensorický komfort při jejím nošení v podmínkách vysokého zavlhčení. Při vývoji byly použity nové vědecké poznatky v oboru Komfort textilií a unikátní měřící metody. Za tímto účelem bylo vyrobeno 180 vzorků originálních tkanin typu denim a realizováno více než 3000 různých měření. Testy proběhly pomocí přístrojů ALAMBETA, PERME-TEST, KES 4, FX 3300, MMT a DATACOLOR. Z výsledků vyplynulo, že tepelný odpor vlhké textilie stanovený matematickým modelem vykazuje velmi dobrý soulad s rozsáhlými experimentálními daty. Výsledkem disertace je tedy nový model umožňující predikci tepelného odporu tkaniny zahrnující nejen vliv vlhkosti obsažené v textilií, ale i dalších parametrů textilie. Výsledky rozsáhlého experimentu potvrdily, že dva typy nových denimových tkanin obsahujících útkové příze z vybraných polypropylenových vláken poskytují svému uživateli podstatně vyšší tepelný a sensorický komfort i při nošení oděvu za zhoršených klimatických podmínek než běžné denimové tkaniny. First objective of the dissertation was to create a mathematical model for the prediction of thermal resistance of textile fabric made of different types of fibres, in which the effect of the changing fabric humidity is considered. Second target of this work was to design a denim fabric which would provide better thermal and sensorial comfort under conditions of increased fabric humidity. In the experimental part of the study, recent scientific achievements in the area of Clothing Comfort were used as well as some unique testing instruments. For the purpose of this research, 180 different denim samples were produced and more than 3000 different tests were carried on ALAMBETA, PERMETEST, KES 4, MMT, FX 3300 and DATA COLOR instruments. From the results follows, that thermal resistance values predicted by the new thermal model exhibit very good agreement with extended experimental data. Considering the outcome of the study, the proposed model can be successfully used for prediction of thermal resistance of textile fabrics consisting of different yarns under changing fabrics humidity. The model also involves the effect of other parameters of the fabrics. Moreover, two of the designed denim fabrics containing selected polypropylene fibers as weft yarns provide better thermal and sensorial comfort to the persons wearing the new clothing under worsen climatic conditions also.
