Cílem práce je přispět k hlubšímu poznání a rozvoji problematiky nejen v rovině teoretické, ale i z hlediska aplikace v podnikové praxi Práce se podrobněni zabývá měřením udržitelné výkonnosti podniku a ukazateli udržitelné výkonnosti v oblasti ekonomické, environmentální a sociální. o stavu poznání a aplikaci udržitelnosti vevybraných oblastech podnikové praxe vypovídají prezentované výsledky vlastní výzkumné práce autorky, jakož i výstupy jiných světových studií, se kterými jsou dosažené výsledky autorčina výzkumu podniků působicích v České republice nebyl prokázán. Měření a reporting udržitelné výkonnosti podniků se ukazuje být nejednoznačnou záležitostí, která se sice rozvíjí, avšak v mnoha ohledech ještě není zcela dořešena. Habilitační práce svými poznatky ukazuje na další možný budoucí směr vývoje v této oblasti.; The goal of this habilitation thesis is to contribute to a deeper understanding and development of the problem not only on a theoretical level, but from the perspective of its application in corporate practice. This work deals in greater detail with the measurement of corporate financial performance and indicators of sustaible development in the economic, environmental, and social fields. The state of knowledge and the application of sustainability in selected areas of corporate practice are shown in the presented results of the author's own research and in outcomes of other interational studies, which are compared to the results gained by the author's research. The impact of sustainability on corporate financial performance, which was tested on a sample of corporations in the Czech Republic, was not documented. Measurement and reporting of corporate financial reprormance is shown to be a multivalent matter, which is still developing and in many respaects has not been properly dealt with. In its findings, this habilitation thesis also points to teh further possible direction of progress in this area.
